Whether you’re looking to learn yourself, or you’ve got a kiddo with dancing feet who needs an outlet – Concord is home to a wealth of different dance studios! Read on to find out the scoop on where to go to put those happy feet to work!
If you’re a local, you’ve probably heard of the annual funfest known as Concord’s Dancing with the Stars – where local business leaders and community members learn to dance and then compete at NHTI’s Winter Fling. It’s where I first learned about how many dance studios there are here in Concord. Competitors learn hip hop, jazz, swing, modern dance… whatever they want, and then perform it to the delight of the Winter Fling attendees.
It got me thinking about just how many studios there must be, so I compiled a list here for you all to see. I think it’s so cool that there are so many different places to learn nearby. And such good exercise too! If you could learn any style of dance, what would it be? I’d learn tap, it seems fitting to know how to tap dance in a downtown setting… then I could get all Gene Kelly and swing around a lamp post while singing in the rain or something… probably not going to happen, but a gal can dream right?
Here’s a list of dance studios in Concord – check them out and let us know if you learn a thing or two! Did I miss one? There are SO many, I’m bound to! Leave their info in the comments so we can spread the word!
