Friday: Dive into Concord’s history

Morning: Check into your hotel (take a look at our list of lodging recommendations) and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at The Works Bakery Café, located in the historic Phenix Hall building in downtown Concord. Then make your way to the New Hampshire State House for a tour.

Afternoon: Grab lunch at Twelve31 Cafe and then head to The Pierce Manse for an afternoon exploring this historic home. Finish your afternoon at the New Hampshire Historical Society.

Evening: Enjoy a traditional New England meal at The Common Man. Lithermans Limited Brewery is a quick 5-minute ride away, so you can extend your evening at this beloved craft brewery.

Saturday: Take in the arts

Morning: Hit the farmers market in the morning (either located on Capitol Street in the summer, or in the Eagle Square atrium in the winter) and pick up a light breakfast. Then explore the city’s downtown, which is full of unique shops. Make sure you stop and enjoy the outdoor sculpture exhibit!

Afternoon: Enjoy lunch at STREET Food 360 Restaurant—serving street food from around the world, and then settle in for a relaxing matinée screening at Red River Theatres.

Evening: Visit one of Concord’s most beloved restaurants, Hermanos Cocina Mexicana, for dinner and margaritas. Then catch a live performance at the Bank of NH Stage, Chubb Theatre, or Concord City Auditorium.

Sunday: Explore the region’s natural beauty

Morning: Visit New Hampshire Doughnut Company, LLC for breakfast to go and make your way to Marjory Swope Park Trail. Take in a scenic view at the Mountain Vista, and then head to New Hampshire Audubon to learn about local wildlife, view birds of prey, and wander through the gardens.

Afternoon: Enjoy an outdoor lunch at The Barley House Restaurant & Tavern while you rest up for an afternoon trip to Scenic Railriders.

Evening: After a day in the outdoors, you’ll love sitting down to a decadent meal at Angelina’s Ristorante Italiano. Finish the night with a cocktail at O Steaks and Seafood.
