Concord’s City Wide Community Center: What's new is old (And Great)

The new center is open year round and it is home for the department’s numerous youth camps during the summer months. Adults can also use the Center as well through drop-in sports and exercise classes, or by signing up for one of Concord Parks and Rec’s adult programs, which have included foreign languages, art, music, cooking, yoga, fitness, and more. Many of the Center’s amenities are open to residents of the greater Concord area; you do not need to live in Concord to take advantage of its offerings.

Concord: Fall in love with NH’s Foliage Capital

New Hampshire’s foliage season runs roughly from late-September to mid-October, but this varies widely depending on weather, topography and geography. Just before the season begins, a sneak preview of fall can be found as swamp maples surrounding some ponds and lakes may turn a fiery red, and the deciduous trees of northern New Hampshire may have already begun their transformation.  Columbus Day Weekend is often the focal point of fall foliage excursions, but the White Mountains can present earlier colors.

The 45th Annual Market Days Festival June 20-22, 2019

Market Days Festival is a staple of the summer in Concord, NH, with music, food and fun.  But this June, the event boasts tons of additions and the theme is simply, “MORE & NEW!” Intown Concord will host the 45th Annual Market Days Festival from Thursday, June 20 through Saturday, June 22, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The festival will transform the historic downtown into a half-mile-long award-winning street fair.
